**The role will involve**

Driving a Class 2 Company vehicle to collect and deliver wood pellet and chip to AMP Clean Energy customers ensuring high customer satisfaction. Operating LGV vehicles safely, effectively, and efficiently within the law for delivery or collection of products, and ensuring that the deliveries are carried out to all ENplus quality requirements and are done in line with Company procedures to ensure a safe delivery.
- Being a professional driver complying with all DVSA requirements and to maintain a high standard of driving at all times
- Complying with all Tachograph regulations, the Working Time Directive (WTD) and Road Transport Directive (RTD) legislation
- Ensuring full compliance with all relevant legislation, codes of practise and Company procedures
- Accurately completing all relevant documentation within the required timescales
- Raising, completing, issuing, and retaining accurate documentation as and when required
- Reporting any defects identified in your pre-use daily checks
- Liaising with the office for paperwork records, weights, defects, and tachographs
- Building effective long-term relationships with customers, and ensure an excellent customer service is provided at all times
- Adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures, and ensuring any hazards are reported immediately to the manager/supervisor responsible
- Communicating effectively with other departments and teams, and adopt a flexible approach to work in other areas where required, to support the team and to meet the needs of the business
- Participating in training activities as and when required, and to actively participate in any training that supports ongoing development in role.

**What we are looking for**:
An honest and hard-working individual who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and has the following knowledge, skills and experience:

- A Class 2 Licence with less than 6 penalty points and an up-to-date CPC qualification
- Demonstratable experience of working as a professional delivery driver or in a similar role
- Ability to go above and beyond to support customer and business needs, including being adaptive to change and supporting others where required
- Good attention skills to ensure records and timesheets are accurately recorded
- Excellent understanding of current transport legislations
- Awareness and understanding of the importance of adhering to health and safety requirements
- Reliable and organised, with excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently using own initiative, and also as part of a wider team to meet business needs.

**Additional Information**:
**Location**: Stafford

**Salary**: £35,500 - £37,705. In addition, we offer a Driver Incentive Scheme earning up to £750 per annum.

**Hours of work**: Averaging 40 hours per week across two 26-week reference periods (January-July and July-January).

Additional hours worked over an average of 40 hours per week will either be paid as overtime at a rate of time and a half or will be added to your banked hours to enable a rest day.
