**THE OPPORTUNITY**
The Operations Team within the DAG is a centralised PMO supporting all departmental teams, responsible for operational planning, resource management, coordination and reporting of all production and development programmes and projects, in addition to managing department finance and environmental requirements.
The Programme Planner will also be required to support the development of our project management capabilities and toolsets, aligned to wider core business and departmental transformation and strategic imperatives. Driving positive change across our activities, ensuring maximised operational effectiveness and efficiency, and a first-class service and experience for our customers and stakeholders.
**WHAT TO EXPECT**
The Programme Planner will also be required to drive the development of our project management capabilities and toolsets, aligned to wider core business and departmental transformation and strategic imperatives. Driving positive change across our activities, ensuring maximised operational effectiveness and efficiency, and a first-class service and experience for our customers and stakeholders. Additionally, supporting the development and growth of surrounding Programme Planners to increase the team capacity and capability.
**WHAT YOU'LL NEED**
Essential:
- Experience in project management / planning methods and processes (Agile, Waterfall)
- Experience of using project management or planning software (Wrike, Smartsheets, JIRA, Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Transformation and change management experience
- Excellent planning and organising skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred
