London South Teaching School Hub was designated in 2021 to provide professional development and support to schools in Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark. Before becoming a Hub, we were London South Teaching School Alliance and before that,
Southwark Teaching School Alliance.

We work with schools and partner organisations to deliver high quality professional development, from Initial Teacher Training to Executive Leadership via the Early Career
Framework and the National Professional Qualifications. We are also host to the Charles
Dickens Research School, which offers a bridge between evidence and practice.

At the heart of the Hub is a commitment from our partners to learn from, with and on behalf of the richly diverse schools in our region, and to extend their impact beyond their own school boundaries for the good of all.

**The role summary**

The Teaching School Hub Administrator will, under the guidance of senior staff, provide specific administrative, clerical and organisational support as well as have responsibility for managing our social media channels promoting our programmes and our wider work. This will include, but is not limited to, setting up meetings, supporting with grant assurance and reporting to the Department for Education (DfE) and Hub Strategic Partnership Board, providing clerical support for Governance meetings, managing and delivering communications. Will work proactively with colleagues within the Hub team and the partner organisations to ensure effective administration and communication with all stakeholders of the LSTSH.

**Key responsibilities**

**Relationships**
- Maintain effective working relationships with your line manager, all staff and stakeholders of the Teaching School Hub Lead Schools and strategic partner organisations.
- Ensure efficient administration and coordination for the Teaching School Hub
- Ensure an efficient clerking provision for the Strategic Partnership Board
- Support Hub operational meetings including document production and reporting.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with Hub stakeholders, school leaders, teachers and trainers, the Department for Education (DfE) and external bodies in person, writing, electronically and by telephone.
- Communicate, publish and share high quality and timely information related to the

Hub to a variety of internal and external audiences.
- Establish and maintain productive working relationships with Hub stakeholders
- Ensure all written and electronic data entry, reports, records, letters and other documentation are completed in an accurate, comprehensive and timely manner.
- Maintain relationship with Regional partners, Regional Delivery Division and Local

Authority colleagues throughout the Teaching School Hub development and delivery period.
- Manage administration and build effective relationships with national Lead Providers for the Early Career Framework and National Professional Qualifications, including providing communications about delivery to all schools in the Hub region.

**People Management**
- Provide advice, guidance and training in the use of systems as required.
- Act as the main point of contact for Teaching School Hub and programme enquiries
- Organise and administer Hub meetings and events.
- Deliver an effective communications strategy, in liaison with the Hub senior team to inform all local stakeholders about progress of the Hub programmes and activities.
- Make arrangement for the delivery of all programme activity, including training.
- Attend regular steering group meetings with Hub Leads and key stakeholders to ensure excellent operations, provision and delivery.
- Liaise with Lead Schools' finance and administration teams on grant funding, staff contracts and payments, reporting and audit as required.

**Resource Management**
- Undertake administrative tasks including more complex procedures such as producing letters and templates, taking minutes, designing/running reports, data entry, mail merges, completing returns, photocopying and filing as required.
- Update website & social media, such as Twitter, as required.
- Use computer systems. Input details, analyse and interpret data, run reports and make returns as required.
- Maintain computerised records. Analyse data and produce lists, reports and other information as required.
- Undertake routine financial administration such as ensuring safe receipt, processing of cash and/or cheques and basic reconciliation in line with
