New Vision care services Recruitment are recruiting reliable workers throughout the Cumbria Area to support our clients who provide Nursing and Residential care. We have shifts available immediately. Short shifts are generally 8am -2pm or 2pm-8pm, with long shifts being either 8am-8pm and 8pm-8am. *Shifts times may vary dependant of the service*

You will be required to assist with all aspects of personal care and support, such as personal hygiene, assistance with meals, activities and social interaction. As well as ensuring all documentation and records are updated.

You will be caring with the ability to build relationships with residents and promote independence, dignity and respect, whilst ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered. The role is ideal for both experienced Care Assistants and those looking to take their first steps into Social Care. In return you can earn between £10.00 a per hour and this is pay weekly.

**The Role of the carer will include some of these tasks. This list is not complete and is intended for information purposes only**
- Assist service users to get up, dressing and preparing them for their day
- Washing, bathing, showering, oral care, personal grooming.
- Toileting, assisting with use of commode, emptying commode.
- Continence management
- Using manual handling equipment as specified.
- Working with other care professionals such as District Nurses, GPs, etc.
- Assisting with prescribed medication
- Assist service users to go to bed, including undressing and washing
- Preparation of meals and assistance with feeding
- Bed making and laundry
- Escorting service users to various places if required

Your wage is payed weekly
