We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT Support Engineer with a long-established and growing UK retailer. We are seeking a motivated self-starter to join a fast paced and expanding team of creative and forward-thinking IT professionals.
This position is to assist within the distribution operations of the business and would require someone who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty and is confident in addressing issues in a face-to-face capacity.
Some of your main duties here would include;
- Respond to support enquiries directly from clients and help them to resolve hardware and / or software problems.
- Liaise with 3rd Party technical support teams when necessary.
- Assist ITIL managers in the development and maintenance of IT Support processes.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows (7 & 10) & Office packages (365)
- Good understanding of PC hardware set-up, configuration and maintenance.
- Active Directory
Desirable, but not essential;
- Experience of working in an ITIL environment, understanding how the end to end processes work across the organisation.
- WMS such as Manhattan.
- Experience of IP Telephony.
