**Job Title**: Agency Care Worker (Domiciliary)

**Hourly Rate**: £14 per hour + mileage

Responsible to: Line manager

**Purpose of the Job**:
To provide person centered care to individuals in their own homes so you must be prepared to travel between care calls.

You will engage with service users to build trusting relationships. Your role will include visiting service users, completing tasks and care needs identified within the care plan.

To work closely with other health and social care professionals and agencies to provide a coordinated service which meets the identified needs of the individuals.

**Responsibilities as a Domiciliary Support Worker**:

- Perform household tasks such as **light cleaning, laundry and tidying.**:

- Make, or assist to make your client's favourite **meals.**:

- Offer c**ompanionship and social support**, engaging with your client's **hobbies** and getting to know them.
- Support with **personal care** tasks such as showering, washing hair, and getting changed.
- Taking clients out to places of their choice e.g. the **local shops or a café**.
- Ensure transparent **communication** with clients and loved ones, offering first-rate care and **comfort**.
- Write **accurate daily notes**, keeping up strong communication with the office.
- Administer **medication** and record appropriately.

**Requirements**:

- We offer comprehensive in-house training. However, any previous care experience either professional or personal is an advantage.
- You must have a full **driver's licence** and **dependable transportation** for various duties.
- You must be **reliable and punctual** to ensure we can continue to provide excellent service to our clients.
- Must have a **caring, friendly personality**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.00 per hour
