Senior Valuer

Oakheart Property is the fastest growing Estate & Letting Agency in Colchester, Ipswich and Sudbury offering traditional values, but with a modern approach to the transaction of property. We are on the search for a Senior Valuer with a strong portfolio to join our growing team in Suffolk.

**Duties (To include but are not limited to)**:

- Liaise with customers and clients in a professional, polite and respectful manner.
- Carry out viewings with prospective purchasers and manage clients across all price ranges.
- Confident and proficient in dealing with applicants and sellers.
- Manage sales to exchange and completion of contracts through influencing, persuading and negotiating whilst giving best advice to clients at all times in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
- Assist with pitching, producing reports and prospecting.
- Seek to build the sales business by using and developing contacts and creating new opportunities.
- Handle daily applicant enquiries from database system, ensuring that accurate details are registered and actioned.
- Maintain records on a daily basis, chasing applicants and archiving where necessary.
- To be able to manage own diary in an efficient manner and with regard to other team members.

**Requirements**:

- Have an established understanding of the property market in the local area and the confidence to accurately value property with a view of securing new business and getting property to market.
- Ability to quickly build rapport and long-standing relationships.
- Passion to carry out first class work.
- Team player who is well organised and reliable.
- Ability to cope under pressure and relishes a challenge.
- Good organisational and prioritising ability.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Smart, presentable and respectful.
- Enthusiastic.
- Holds a full UK driving license.
- 1-3 years’ experience.
