Our client is based in Tiptree, Essex and was established in 1958. They offer a dedicated DIY and Shelving service supplying a range of Melamine and Veneered panels. Furniture components are manufactured on their state of the art machinery which occupiesseveral well-constructed factories on their sixteen acre site.

They are currently looking to recruit a Sales Administrator to join their Sales Department.

The Role
As their Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of sales orders through the business ensuring that all relevant information has been received from the customer and uploading it to theur system. You will liaise with other departmentswithin the business to ensure that orders and deliveries are handled effectively.

Key Responsibilities of the Sales Administrator
- Raise customer purchase orders to deadlines as per the internal set process;
- Ensure all relative information is on the PO to allow smooth internal progression and check that drawings supplied are correct and a true reflection of the customer requirements;
- Acknowledge receipt of sales order within Service Level Agreement timeframe;
- Ensure costs are correct as per set price matrix and escalate any price discrepancies;
- Communicate to clients clearly, addressing any concerns and resolving any conflict that may arise;
- Update account details as required;
- Assist with any ad-hoc tasks may be requested from time to time that is not listed above, but will be required.
- May be requested to work additional hours during busy periods.
- Perform any reasonable management instruction within time frame requested.

QUALIFICATIONS
- MS Office Package (MS Excel and MS Word), MS Outlook
- Minimum GCSE English and Mathematics

EXPERIENCE
- Previous administrative experience

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
- Previous experience within a manufactory industry.
- Good telephone manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, self-motivation, and enthusiasm are essential, as is the ability to meet deadlines.
