We work in partnership with a broad range of clients across the aviation sector and other numerous business sectors, and a high proportion of our business comes from repeat custom and client referrals. Consistent high performance has built a portfolio of Long-Term Clients.

SSL are looking to add an experienced Working Site Supervisor to our growing team. This is a fantastic time to join, as this role will be for work on projects in the East & West of Scotland for our Facilities, Maintenance & Projects Division.

The job will include a variety of works for well-known clients within the aviation sector and across the Central Belt.

**What you'll be doing**

As a Site Supervisor, you will have responsibility for ensuring the operatives and tradesman on site are trained to carry out the works in a safe, competent, and timely manner.

Working in close partnership with the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered to programme, discussing, and resolving any project delivery issues that may arise.

**Who we're looking for**

You will have the following:

- Experience of Management and Delivery of projects.
- Completion of SSSTS.
- CSCS
- Effective Communication Skills.
- Commercial awareness with knowledge of both budgetary and financial control.
- Excellent relationship management skills.
- Ability to lead, develop and motivate a team for success.
- Planning and organising all labour on site including Sub contractors.
- Responsible for daily delivery of site-based activities as per Programme
- Keeping site records and registers up to date.
- Ensure correct permits are in place where required and associated documentation is completed to a high standard.
- Experience within commercial facilities and maintenance would be desirable.
- Understanding of construction drawings.
- You will see the importance of providing excellent customer care and service along with a positive approach to engaging with our customers.
- A high level of health and safety awareness in the workplace is essential for this role.
- A good team player.
- Creation of any required Risk Assessments and Method Statements ensuring suitable revision and review is applied pre and post job completion.
- Someone who takes pride in their work and strives to achieve a very high standard.
- Friendly and polite towards clients and other staff.
- Can pull together with other trades within the team to meet project deadlines.
- Flexible to work on aspects out with supervisor role if required to complete the works and projects.
- Someone who is passionate about maintaining great client reviews and company reputation.
- Awareness of Health & Safety Regulations.
- Must be able to pass Security Clearance
- Has a full UK driving licence for driving works vans.

Pay: £34,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
