You, as the leader of the E360 data team will coordinate and develop ETL processes to load and transform datasets, which integrate with E360’s core health analytics software.

**What to expect**
- Line management of two Scrum teams.
- Liaising with other IQVIA teams to ensure the timely delivery of data into the team.
- Scheduling ingest and refresh of datasets into E360.
- Reporting upwards on status of ingest and refresh work.
- Providing a technical/strategic direction for the team.
- Working with other E360 teams to integrate new datasets.
- Planning & developing ETL processes to load and transform datasets to integrate with our core products
- Analysing datasets and adjust schemas for maximum compatibility with our core products
- Record and correct ETL defects & issues
- Identifying defects & issues introduced in earlier production steps
- Working with dataset owners and upstream production teams to streamline the process and avoid error re-occurrence
- Working with downstream development teams to ensure integration of datasets in IQVIA software
- Research and development in new technologies, features & tooling
- Optimising process velocity
- Identify areas for optimisation in ETL process and systems
- Back-end development using T-SQL and CLR
- Creating scripts and stored procedures, user-defined functions
- Working in continuous integration environment using SQL Server, VS2017+, Jira, GitLab, Jenkins, Octopus,
- Participating in scrum meetings & iteration planning. Very friendly and informal working environment
- Regular Innovation weeks - Where the technology team is given the chance to work on their own projects and showcase their work at the end of the week
- Experience of leading data teams
- Experience in commercial ETL processes
- Experience using SQL Server, C#.NET, T-SQL, CLR stored procedures
- Experience using Jira, GitLab, CI, Visual Studio / DACPAC, Jenkins, Octopus
- Solid understanding of database design principles
- Experience of working in an agile development environment
- Self-motivation and keen to contribute new ideas
- Disciplined yet creative approach to problem-solving, with good attention to detail
- Effective and clear communication
