Kitchen Porter

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen staff by ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the culinary field or those who have a passion for food preparation and hospitality.

**Duties**
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all surfaces are sanitised and tidy.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Support chefs during busy service periods by helping with basic cooking tasks as required.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Help with the delivery and storage of supplies and ingredients.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is advantageous but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn.
- A passion for culinary arts and an interest in food preparation is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
