A great opportunity for an experienced Part-time Product DevelopmentAssistant to work with a prestigious company in the Deeside area.

Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, and working in a state of the art development kitchen, with the latest equipment.If you are passionate about food and enjoy working in a fast paced environment this could be the perfect opportunity for you

No food preparation is required in this role, this is a support role mainly cleaning, deep cleaning, shopping and logging samples.

As a Product Support Assistant your main responsibilities will be:

- Providing support to the Buying Team and Product Manager
- Having awareness of the competition and shopping for samples
- Dealing with the stock rotation of products, ensuring stock is labelled and recorded correctly and liaising with buyers
- Serving Senior Team lunches as and when required
- Ensuring that the kitchen facilities and equipment are always kept clean and in in excellent condition

We are really keen to talk to you and see your CV if you have the following skills and experience
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Experience in the food industry or preferable experience working within Product Development for a supplier, retailer, or similar role.
- Knowledge of Food Safety Legislation/HACCP
- Excellent practical cookery skills and good culinary understanding
- Demonstrable interest in food and current trends
- Basic food hygiene
- Driving licence is required to drive the pool car.

This is a temporary position which could become permanent for the right individual, working Monday to Friday 12.00 noon till 18.00pm with an hourly pay rate of £10.50 plus accrued holiday whilst on assignment.
