Careerlink are currently seeking a highly motivated and results-driven DC Shift Supervisor to join our client's team. As a DC Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational activities within your assigned area of control, ensuring that all objectives are met in line with the Shift Manager's requirements. In addition, you will be required to train and set objectives for your team, as well as promote effective communication and competent problem-solving capabilities.

**Shift Pattern**:
6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm Rotating

**Responsibilities, Accountabilities, and Duties**:

- Take ownership of your assigned activity area, ensuring that all operational targets are met.
- Monitor the performance of your reporting team, providing support and guidance where necessary.
- Forward plan and balance labour and equipment requirements to meet operational plans and productivity targets.
- Provide support and consult with other areas/leaders to facilitate the integration of activities to maximize productivity and react to any issues on the shift.
- Promote, educate, maintain and where necessary improve standards of H&S, 5S housekeeping, and organization of the complete area of responsibility.
- Identify potential process improvement and where appropriate lead project/s for implementation.
- Lead, develop and motivate operatives to ensure they can deliver targets and goals
- Effective communication to all associated stakeholders, to adopt a ‘closed loop’ feedback culture for all projects or queries.
- Ability to operate and process provided warehouse management system (SAP), in an accurate and timely manner.

- Support other operational areas when issues arise.
- To have the ability and knowledge to move between areas when required.
- Work as a team to achieve the DC goals and be adaptable to meet the needs of the operation

**Salary**: £24,671.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
