**Barista - FlexiBank**

One Ashford Hospital are recruiting trained Baristas to work in our coffee shop.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about people and excited by coffee. Our coffee shop is located in the heart of our private facility and the first point of call for everyone entering the building, which means first impressions count.

You will provide a warm welcome to the hospital, dedicated to serving a variety of hot and cold beverages to the highest standard to ensure your customers will come back for more.

You will also have the opportunity to introduce new ideas, new products and seasonal specials to help our coffee shop reach its full potential.

By joining our team at the One Ashford Hospital, you will be committed to provide the best care to the highest standard and representing the company's visions and values.

**Please note: this is a FlexiBank role working on an 'as and when required' basis; you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff during periods of annual leave or absence.**

**Hours**:Typically, you will work 4 shifts per week, Mon to Fri from 14:30 to 18:30. Additional hours may be available from time to time.

Barista experience required.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum GCSE or equivalent
- Food Safety Level 2

**Experience**
- Experience in a similar role as a barista
- Familiar with best practise within the catering industry

**Skills**
- Patient orientated with a focus on continuous service improvement
- A good team player with a collaborative approach to achieving goals
- Competent using IT systems
- Enthusiastic and passionate
- Ability to work well under pressure

**Desirables**
- Working in a Healthcare environment
