Assistant Management Accountant

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Management Accountant to work for this successful, global manufacturing organisation. Reporting to the Group FC, you will have responsibility for the preparation of small company accounts. Your dutieswill be as follows:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Responsible for financial forecasts and ongoing financial review and support
- Leading on quarterly balance sheet reviews for various companies
- Managing the purchase ledger team
- Ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and efficiently
- Ensuring statement reconciliations are completed and reviewed
- Liaising with the team to ensure supplier invoice queries are resolved
- Managing team to ensure expense claims are processed
- General purchase and sales ledger management
- Keeping the purchase ledger team up to date with fraud awareness training
- Preparation and review of foreign supplier payment runs
- Period end reporting for accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Managing team to ensure cash receipts are reported and processed accurately
You will be part or fully qualified and have solid experience in preparing management accounts. Strong IT skills, particularly Excel are essential. Experience of an ERP system would be advantageous as well as data manipulation skills.
