**Job Description**:
The primary purpose of the role is to supervise, develop and coach the Repair & Maintenance Operatives to deliver against performance and quality objectives.

Key Accountabilities
- Supervise, develop and coach employees
- Continuous improvement via systemic change, based on data and root cause (i.e. Data analysis and improvement / correction plans)
- Ownership and control of all quality related issues on their shifts.
- Drive a zero harm culture within the shift
- Conduct tours in the 1-CHEP Management Observation Tool (MOT)
- Lead root cause analysis of all incidents that happen on shift
- Work closely with the Yard and Service Manager taking Control Yard (When necessary) and Warehouse movements delegating relevant tasks to FLT drivers bearing in mind warehouse needs as well as the site turnaround times
- Hold weekly shift briefs and report plant KPIs
- Monitor and ensure consistent, timely responses to all relating to zero harm and production
- Owning the controls on safety, quality, production

- Assisting in monitoring absence levels and dealing with employees in the correct manner when triggers are made
- Deputise for the Shift Manager in their absence

Experience
- Experienced in lean based/CI operational role would be an advantage.
- Experience in team and shift leadership would be advantageous
- Ideally worked in a quality focused environment and familiar with quality-based standards.
