**Area for post vacancy: Islington, Greater London**

We pride ourselves on being specialists in the provision of concierge and safeguarding services to providers of supported housing for vulnerable people.

We are looking for people who can demonstrate that they:

- have great communication skills,
- are reliable, responsible and can remain professional and calm in all situations.
- are a good decision maker
- have empathy with vulnerable people

**The key aspects of the role include**:

- 40 hour week - 9am till 5pm (Monday - Friday)
- Rate of pay £**10.85** - £**12.60 **per hour (dependent on experience and contract arrangements)
- Floating support worker within mental health services in Islington
- Be familiar and alert to safeguarding issues and concerns.
- Work as part of a team in all aspects of project work
- Liaise with other health and other professionals in all aspects of residents’ health/wellbeing.
- Handle enquiries on reception
- Assist co-workers in any other issues around support in the building.
- Dealing with and checking security around the building day and night.
- Leading on any emergencies that may arise including liaising with emergency services as appropriate.
- Carrying out various building health and safety checks.
- Maintaining and recording all incidents or important occurrences and carry out effective handovers.
- an **Enhanced DBS Certificate less than 3 years old (Essential)**

- an ability to create and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and customers
- a clear and robust understanding of professional boundaries
- a solid work ethic and ability to remain vigilant at all times
- a high level of personal integrity
- the right to work within the United Kingdom

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary

**Salary**: £10.85-£12.60 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
