**HR & Corporate Officer**
**Salary**: £28,000 (Depending on experience)
Our client based in Chelmsford are seeking a HR & Corporate Officer to join their organisation. The successful individual will be CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent, with experience in day-to-day HR services in small to medium sized organisations.
**Duties**:
- Track and maintain an annual HR plan ensuring all operational HR activities are completed in a timely manner
- Ensure all HR-related records are always up to date
- Support the processing of the monthly staff payroll, including all starters/leavers, statutory pay, pension contributions and pay amendments
- Assisting the recruitment process
- Deal with the new starter process including offer letters, undertaking pre-employment checks, and providing welcome packs
- Co-ordinate any staff disciplinary, grievance etc.
- Oversee and provide the first point of contact with all office related contractors ensuring the premises are in line with contractual requirements
**Experience Required**:
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or a similar HR related qualification
- A track record in running an efficient and effective day to day HR service in small to medium sized organisations
- Ability to manage many priorities as the role demands
- Proficient in using Microsoft packages including Excel
- Good oral and written communication
- Ability to self-motivate and use own initiative and understand when escalations are required for decision making or advice
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Experience of payroll would be an advantage but not essential
37 hours per week, Monday-Friday
