This is a strategic leadership role, that is responsible for driving and overseeing the digital transformation and improvement initiatives across Technology Operations. This will include creation and execution of a transformation plan that includes organizational design, business line alignment, communications & engagement, learning & development & achievement of high-performance metrics across Tech Ops.

This role will also play a key role in supporting Ideagen’ s acquisition strategy and will oversee all aspects of technology due diligence, planning of technology integration and own the implementation and tracking of the post-acquisition technology integration activity, ensuring smooth integration against timelines.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, sales, and customer success, to ensure successful execution and adoption of transformational strategies. As the Head of Transformation, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Technology Operations and positioning us as a leader in the SaaS global market.

**Responsibilities**:
**Impact on Strategy & Transformation**
- Lead on Tech Ops Transformation by defining a programme of change across operations, customers, people and finance that aligns with the Tech Ops strategic objectives and Ideagen’s business goals.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify business process improvement opportunities and leverage technology to drive operational efficiency.
- Provide strategic guidance and oversight to project teams throughout the transformation initiatives, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, driving organizational change management efforts to facilitate smooth transitions.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify potential opportunities and risks and make recommendations to senior leadership.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics and reporting to measure the impact and success of transformation initiatives.

**Impact on Mergers & Acquisitions**
- Lead on the technology acquisition due diligence workstream, understanding the target company and working with SMEs across Technology to highlight any issues and risks which should be flagged at this stage, including reviewing and understanding the target company’s product development, cyber security, cloud ops and infrastructure, internal IT and broader technology org set-up.
- Define and lead the overall technology integration plan from strategy planning through to execution. Working in collaboration with the SVP Technology, central M&A team and Departmental Leads across the technology organisation.
- Define and lead on future technology people org structure, working closely with the HR M&A Integration Partner ensuring all newly acquired companies align to target operating model.

**Leadership and Management**
- Ensure key stakeholders are engaged in the integration plan and provide clear direction to make sure key stakeholders are engaged and project timelines are agreed and actioned.
- Lead, mentor and support a highly effective team fostering a high-performance culture
- Build cross-department relationships centred on executing company strategy

Skills and Experience:

- Transformation Leader, with experience of delivering multiple business change projects, combining both strategic thinking and a ‘hands-on’ approach
- Demonstrable experience of delivering acquisition and M&A processes
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- High levels of gravitas and exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build productive cross-departmental relationships and motivate team members.
