**Patient Services Advisor**

**Hours**: Part Time 16 hours between Mon - Friday
**Location**:Kearsley, M26 1GG

**What is the role?**

As a Patient Services Advisor you will be the first point of contact, providing an excellent standard of customer service for our dental patients. You will be responsible for the management of our patients and dentist’s appointments using our in-house electronic diary and practice management systems. Any appointments made need to be done so in a timely and accurate manner. You will provide support or guidance to our patients relating to appointments and services. This will involve management of in-bound and out-bound contact.

**Skills Required**:

- Be the first line of contact for practices and answer calls received by patients within the designated KPI’s
- To contribute to achieving these team and individual KPI’s by providing excellent customer service levels and productivity.
- Ensure that all appointments are booked/amended/cancelled accurately and efficiently in line with company procedures.
- Provide help, support and excellent customer service to patients
- Escalate any issues reported to line manager
- Build effective and successful working relationships with the practice teams to ensure that practice and patient problems are resolved quickly.
- Provide assistance and advice to patients within the designated scope of training provided.
- Produce a clear and comprehensive note/audit trail on a patient’s record for the practice team to view
- Attend any internal and external training courses as required to fulfill the needs of the role.
- Be able to identify any potential safeguarding concerns and escalate to line manager
- To build and form effective working relationships with the practice teams and support centre colleagues.

**What else do I need to know?**

The 16 hours shift pattern available
- Monday - 12.30pm till 4.30pm

Tuesday - 12.30 till 4.30pm

Wednesday - Day off

Thursday - 12.30pm till 4.30pm

Friday - 9am till 1pm
