As a Systems Accountant, you will report to the Senior Finance Manager and your primary responsibility will be assisting with the implementation, integration and ongoing development of our new FP&A system.

This role is in response to the ever increasing business demands for timely, accurate and insightful reporting, planning and analysis. Joining at the start of a major new project aimed at delivering a new FP&A system, your initial focus will be on the successfulimplementation of the chosen system. Over time you will become a systems expert, proactively seeking to optimise its capabilities and potential benefits with the ultimate aim of improving the quality of information provided to all areas of the Company.

**Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience**:

- CIMA or equivalent Qualified Accountant with post qualification work experience.
- Confident individual who shows initiative with the ability to pick up and understand new concepts quickly.
- Open, honest and a constructive communication style with strong attention to detail.
- Innate curiosity in all aspects of the operation whilst proactively identificating problems and seeking resolutions.
- Manage own deadlines in order to satisfy those of the business.
- Experience of working with high volumes of data.
- Experience in a similar systems role or IT background looking after or implementing systems.
- Good understanding of finance processes and the link to systems.
- Good understanding of system governance and controls.
- Experience of working within a fast-paced business environment and interacting with Senior Management.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Supporting the implementation and integration of a new FP&A system, taking the lead on its ongoing development.
- Establishing processes and workflows to ensure the flow of data from other systems and data providers are maintained in a timely fashion.
- Owning the relationship with the system providers to ensure the system is working and updated as required. Working with appropriate parties to resolve issues and problems.
- Acting as a superuser for the FP&A system, providing support to all departments across the business to utilise the system to its maximum capability.
- Ensuring all data in the FP&A system is consistently recorded accurately allowing transparency of performance, across all business units.
- Developing and maintaining a tight controls environment relating to security, access and data integrity.
- Owning the implementation of additional functionality as they become available.
- Reviewing and driving efficiencies in processes through system utilisation.
- Utilising the system to assist in developing a new standard of internal responsibility reporting.
