An opportunity to join the Research Commercialisation team at The University of Bristol. In line with the growth of Life Sciences and Health within the area, the team are looking for an individual with good knowledge and experience of Licensing agreements forStart-up/Spin-offs. The role is highly rewarding as you will be guiding prospects through the commercialisation cycle from initial inception.
**What you’ll be doing**:

- Advising academics on the strategic development of Intellectual Property whilst forging strong relationships.
- Give commercialisation direction to prospects via licensing or spin-out routes.
- Supervise the creation of legal agreements including licensing and assignments.
- Help with business plans, bids and reports to help secure funding and investment.
**What experience you’ll need to apply?**:

- Experience of Licensing agreements and/or have aided in the commercialisation of a start-up or spin-off, with a good understanding of Intellectual Property.
- Life Science/Healthcare experience with a degree or higher in a relevant field.
- A strong communicator, able to forge good working relationships with both academics and industry.
