**Job Title**:

- ADHOC Driver's Mate

**Location**:

- Carlisle, Cumbria

**Pay**:

- £10.42 per hour for the Month of March
- £11.44 per hour as of April 1st

**Working Hours**:

- Tuesday to Saturday, 07:00 to finish (estimates 8-hour days, break included)
- We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team as an ADHOC Driver's Mate. In this role, you will assist our delivery drivers in transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. This position offers flexibility, as shifts will be on an adhoc basis, depending on our delivery schedules.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the driver in loading and unloading goods onto the delivery vehicle.
- Navigate routes and provide directions to the driver as needed.
- Ensure that delivered items are handled with care and delivered in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with the driver and customers to provide exceptional service.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during deliveries.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver's license. Due to the location, you must be able to drive to site.
- DBS Required: The company will cover this if not already obtained
- Initial induction required prior to starting, which will take around 3 hours.
