This is a fixed term contract for 12 months to cover maternity leave
This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy Human Resources department, where we provide a generalist HR service to all Company divisions within the James Hall group of Companies. You will work in a team to administer HR processes which cover the whole employee lifecycle, supporting the HR team and management team. **About the Role**
As a HR Administrator, you will have several responsibilities on a daily basis. You will also be the first point of contact for managers and colleagues, so we want someone with great customer service and who is eager to learn
Day to day, you will be focussing on:
- Administering employees joining and leaving the Company, ensuring compliance with legislation and Company policy.
- Ensuring all information and documentation which leaves the HR department is done so accurately and in a timely manner.
- Producing workforce data using our time and attendance system, personnel system and Excel.
- Co-ordinating and administering the Company communication and information forums.
- Ensuring all personal and sensitive data is maintained in line with all Company policies, specifically those outlined in the Data Protection policy.
**A Few Things About You**:
While some experience in Administration would be helpful, this role requires someone who can work as part of a team, take on board training and feedback and wants to experience more about HR practices.
- Good IT ability, including the use of databases and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent customer service skills to support our internal customers.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Good time management and prioritisation skills.
- An understanding of the need to handle confidential, private and sensitive information with absolute discretion.
- The ability to be a good team player, capable of working co-operatively with colleagues with a positive ‘can do’ attitude to challenging situations.
