Here at Atom, we are embarking on an exciting programme of work, to achieve an A-IRB Waiver by FY25, as Programme Manager you’ll work as part of the A-IRB Programme team, to ensure we achieve this challenging goal.

You’ll play a key part in us delivering this programme and work closely with the Head of IRB to ensure we have a strong IRB operating model and framework, supporting the planning, prioritization of the A-IRB build roadmap in partnership with a team of ProjectManagers, SME’s & PMO support.

This programme will have a big impact across the bank and will engage and work closely with our Senior Managers & ExCo. You’ll be accountable for working with the aforementioned SME’s, other key business areas and 3rd parties to shape and drive this programmeto ensure delivery is achieved consistently, on time, to scope and to budget.

You’ll be an inspiring communicator as this role involves stakeholder management of both internal and external partners plus external agencies such as FCA and the PRA.

As an Atom Programme Manager, you'll have opportunity to demonstrate your strong leadership and diplomacy skills to influence and build strong dependable relationship to achieve delivery on time and to pre-agreed cost and quality.

You will:

- Shape and establish programme governance
- Establish project & programme delivery structure, outlining clear roles and ownership
- Lead, create and baseline clear and concise detailed programme, project, and implementation plans (business and technology) with identified critical paths ensuring resource commitment is obtained from all impacted parties.
- Programme manage the delivery and implementation of the project across multiple workstreams and stakeholders
- Influence all stakeholders and provide solutions/options to challenges ensuring time, cost and quality is always considered
- Present oral and written reports up to and including the ExCo members
- Lead, inspire and empower colleagues to take ownership of their delivery scope
- Lead decision making discussions and encourage knowledge sharing through various tools and techniques
- Create a collaborative programme environment which empowers stakeholders to become creative in their solutionising of requirements and decision making
- Set and meet realistic deadlines ensuring stakeholder expectations and buy in is agreed to achieve programme success.
- Bring industry best practice and optimize for implementation into the Atom culture.

**_What do we need from you?_**
- Ideally, you’ll possess Programme and Project Management Qualifications such as Prince2, APM etc.
- Possess Agile delivery qualifications
- Demonstrable experience of managing successful projects/programmes/portfolios with experience of managing strategic projects of work including 3rd party implementations
- Experience of managing external bodies/agency’s (FCA, PRA, Payments Council etc) as part of a regulatory/government implementation
- Expertise and experience in both Waterfall and Agile delivery techniques
- Strong ability to influence and negotiate
- Experience of delivery of portfolios of projects
- Ideally experience of A-IRB or credit risk and financial modelling-based change initiatives.
