My client in **London** is looking for an experienced **Band 7 Haematology/ Blood Sciences Biomedical Scientist** for a locum contract.
Job Role:
- Monday
- Friday
- 37.5 h/week
- To oversee compliance with all regulatory standards and requirements within Blood Sciences ensuring quality standards are maintained.
- Under the direction of the Pathology Quality Manager they will be responsible for organising and participating in maintenance of quality programs ensuring that work is carried out to agreed standards and quality in a timely and efficient manner that meetsthe demands of the user and accredited bodies.
- Duties may include the supervision of other Blood Sciences personnel and taking a lead role in training, quality management and health and safety.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- **HCPC registered as a BMS**:
- Good interpersonal skills
- Able to use IT for word processing, data analysis and presentations
- Good organisational skills
- Minimum of 3 years post registration experience in a hospital haematology and blood transfusion laboratory
- Able to work as part of a team or alone as appropriate.
- Good knowledge and or experience of blood sciences
