Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support the Finance Department ensuring the smooth operation of key tasks including transaction controls, payments management, and general ledger operations. **About The Role** - Manage supplier accounts and payments - Deal with supplier queries - Assisting with processing of invoices - Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details through our ERP system - Liaising with the bank and HMRC - Processing payments - Bank and cash allocations. - Month-end procedures. - Prepare a weekly cashflow forecast - Supplier statement reconciliations and payments at month-end - Submitting monthly statutory returns such as VAT, EC Sales and Intrastat - Prepare reconciliations of the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all sales invoices and customer payments are accounted for accurately. - Prepare aged analysis of accounts receivable balances outstanding to facilitate strong control of aged debt analysis and collection. - Ensure that clients adhere to our required payment terms through the issue of reminders and direct contact. - Strive to improve the efficiency of the role’s processes, making suggestions and use of IT where appropriate - General Admin Support - Support the production of Management Accounting and Financial Accounting information as required. **Required Criteria** - 2+ years’ experience proven working experience within a commercial finance department with experience in areas such as Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable - Must have good attention to detail - Ability to work well under pressure - A high working level of MS packages, especially excel - Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines - Excellent communication skills and should be able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders **Desired Criteria** - ERP experience - Experience within the manufacturing industry **Skills Needed** **About The Company** **The Telestack Story** Servicing the quarrying and aggregate, mining, port, and terminal sectors, Telestack design and manufacture their equipment from their headquarters in Omagh.
