Trainee Service Engineer

We are currently recruiting a Trainee Service Engineer to join the team at our Norwich branch.

This is a great opportunity for an individual interested in entering the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning trade as a Trainee Engineer.

**Trainee Service Engineer Responsibilities**:
Working with lead engineers, learning on the job as you work on customer sites undertaking service and maintenance of a variety of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
This is a mobile role working on Adcock customer premises. The trainee will travel with the lead engineer to customer sites but must have the means to be able to meet the lead engineer either at the branch or alternative meeting points.
Classroom based training usually takes place once a month in week-long blocks at our bespoke training centre in King's Lynn, Norfolk. Accommodation and meals are provided during these blocks.
Once qualified, you will be issued with an Adcock van and will continue to learn as you gain experience.

**Trainee Service Engineer Requirements**:
Must be within easy commuting distance of our Norwich branch
Must have own transport and able to get to and from the branch or meeting points.
Able to accommodate early starts and / or later finishes
Able to work away should this be required
A full, valid UK driving licence is essential
Some experience within a construction-based role would be an advantage but is not essential.

Location: Norwich
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time, 40 per week Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Some weekend work and overtime will be required.

**Salary**: £14,000 to £20,000 per annum dependent on existing skills and experience. Generous overtime rates.
