**Laundry Operative**
- **Operate Laundry Equipment**: Efficiently manage the operation of washing machines, dryers, and the large ironer to process linens and towels.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure all items are cleaned and pressed to the highest standard, conducting spot checks for quality assurance.
- **Sort and Organize Laundry**: Accurately sort laundry by type and treatment needs, prioritizing items for a quick turnaround.
- **Inventory Management**: Keep track of linen inventory, noting any items that need repair or replacement.
- **Maintain a Clean Workspace**: Ensure the laundry area is clean and organized, adhering to health and safety standards.
- **Efficient Workflow Management**: Work effectively to manage laundry loads in a timely manner, ensuring a continuous supply of clean linens and towels to meet hotel needs.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with housekeeping and hotel staff to address any specific laundry or linen requests.

Skills and Qualifications:

- **Attention to Detail**: Keen eye for spotting stains and assessing cleanliness.
- **Time Management**: Ability to prioritise tasks for efficient workflow.
- **Physical Stamina**: Comfortable standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads.
- **Reliability**: A consistent track record of punctuality and reliability.
- **Teamwork**: Ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £11.55 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
