- Receptionist / Front of House will have responsibilities in the following areas_:
- Awareness and anticipation are two main responsibilities of this role, always be aware of the needs of not only clients but anticipate the needs of the salon team and their clients
- Ensure that all clients, not just those directly under your care, are given the utmost professional service with special attention to comfort and friendliness in order to generate an efficient but warm working atmosphere
- Customer Service to include; meet & greet, taking coats, making and presenting refreshments, client requests / concerns, data collation / input, gowning and seating clients including magazines or special requests, deal with walk in clients
- Salon Cleanliness and Tidiness to include; washing / folding / hanging towels and gowns, sweeping floors, dusting; chairs, furniture, product areas, counters, tables and cleaning basins, ensuring staff room and toilet areas are kept tidy and clean
- Start of day salon set-up and end of day
- Taking payments for Services and Products
- Health and Safety compliance
- Work with Operations & Finance Manager with regard any issues, breakages, damages or faults in the salon
- Personal Skills_
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written with an attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong commitment to working with team members
- Capable of working on own initiative with / without supervision
- A calm and discreet manner towards all clients and staff
- Good organisational skills and an excellent time keeper
- A flexible attitude in order to cover / support all salon areas when requested to
- Presents a professional and positive image both within the salon and external events
- Discretion with all clients to ensure their privacy, and protection of the company brand
- Training / Mentoring / Coaching_
- At interview stage, there will be discussions to assess the level of training you have received to date
- We will provide a focus on the individuals training requirements and deliver as timely, efficiently as possible, whilst always ensuring we retain a high level of standards
- It will be expected that you always approach training with a high level of commitment and professionalism
- As part of your role, any agreed training undertaken within the Company should be disseminated to all relevant team members as part of the staff / team development programme
- Mentoring / coaching your fellow colleagues in building a culture of respect, patience and understanding in working together to support staff in reaching their full potential
Job: Receptionist / Front of House - Permanent - Full-time
- Up to 45 hours per week including Saturdays
