**Senior Implementation Specialists/ Systems Engineers are required in the UK and Ireland to deliver specific implementation engagements ranging in length from 1 - 8 weeks across the EMEA Region for one of the World’s leading IT vendors. Initially this will be a contract engagement with the opportunity to join permanently at a later date.**

Ateca Consulting are currently expanding our Virtual Bench to cover System Integration positions across Europe, with permanent positions will be offered to successful Associates in due course. The Virtual Bench is our tier 1 group of Associates, this model offers the opportunity to be flexible and work across multiple industries with major end clients in the EMEA market.

We are looking for specialists with experience across a range of various, databases, data protection and backup technologies such as Oracle, MS, SAP, SQL, Mainframe, BRS, SAN-UNITY, XTREMIO, PowerStore, Avamar, Cyber Recovery

**Duties and Responsibilities**

1. Installs vendor software products in a Mainframe and/or Open Systems HW.

2. Performs complex and/or extended-stay SW implementations per the specifications in the SOW, Scope document, Architecture Design Document or Project Manager direction.

3. Successfully manages relations with Customers utilizing negotiation and influencing skills to acquire the internal and external resources necessary for optimal results.

4. May be required to coordinate the necessary resources within the vendor organisation to resolve issues or problems.

5. May also occasionally support other activities as necessary. Aids vendor technical teams in the development of custom solutions and implementation preparation.

6. Performs according to established safety standards.

7. Reports unsafe situations and recommends improvements. Prepares, maintains, and submits activity/progress reports and time recording/management reports in accordance with published procedures.

8. Keeps Program Managers and Project Managers informed of activities, alerting of any issues promptly.

10. Completes end-of-project reports. Tracks, maintains, and reports any travel and expense activities which are re-billable to the customer based on the engagement's Statement of Work.

11. Have demonstrated knowledge, experience, & expertise in implementation, configuration, & integration.

12. Understands technology architecture, product requirements, & technical interdependencies. Familiar with industry standards and vendor specifications.

13. Participates in planning & design sessions. Works with the customer and Solution Architect or Account Team as needed.

14. May be required to support Program Managers, Project Managers and Solutions Architects in developing Scopes of Work and Project Plans.

Daily rate to be discussed depending on experience

**Salary**: £1.00-£2.00 per day
