Our Water Quality and Environment team have an opportunity for you to join as our new **Courier Technical Planner.**
In your new role, you’ll be responsible for reactive and non-reactive planning scheduling service to the Courier Team across the whole of the Severn Trent region, while taking accountability for all regulatory sampling information being accurately maintained and that supporting records comply and support ISO 17025 UKAS accreditation
Additionally, you’ll be working closely with the project team on all communication requirements, briefing internal and external agency teams to help support the delivery of campaigns, increasing our brand awareness and driving behaviour change amongst our customers through the delivery of your activity.
Some of your other key accountabilities will include:
- Provide assurance on adherence of the team to agreed procedures by undertaking regular audits using data and ensuring compliance.
- Answer complex technical queries from the field team regarding processes to enable them to work efficiently.
- Planning the rotas and routes of the whole of the courier team.
- Liaise with a number of departments such as Water Production operations, Public Health & Standards Team, and laboratories with respect of data and information, integrity, operational process and reporting of milestones and targets.
- Providing first class customer service by owning the internal customers issue and ensuring we deliver on time, addressing any concerns and ensuring the customer is kept informed of any changes.
**WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE**
We’re seeking our new Courier Technical Planner to be assisting with the scheduling of courier runs and react to and adjust runs to accommodate emergency and unplanned work.
To be successful, it’s expected that you’ll have the ability to communicate to stakeholders of all levels both internally and externally, whilst still delivering a professional manner under pressure, stay focused and organise routine work.
