**SEN Teacher - In Special Educational Needs School**

**North London - Enfield**

**Contract: Long Term or Perm**

**Start Date: ASAP**

**£150 - £200 per day**

We are now currently recruiting for an SEN Teacher for a Special Needs Schools in the London Borough of Enfield.

This SEN Teacher role within the London Borough of Enfield post will require you to work full-time and to be able to start ASAP You will be supporting children with SEN and managing a class teaching assistants. There will either be a car park on site orthere is available parking nearby but certainly a local bus route or train station nearby.

All schools will have a long-lasting relationship with RT Education, therefore you may be offered a contract with the school or a permanent position once you have proven yourself.

- Providing Teaching Assistances with daily tasks and instructions.
- Supporting students with Special Needs to a high level.

- Attending training on a frequent basis.
- Providing a range of different structured activities to support the students development in all areas.

- To work under the guidelines of SENCO.
- Using visual materials to support the children.
- To participate in daily observations.

**Person Specification**
- Have experience as an SEN Teacher
- Need to have a high level of understanding of Special Needs.
- Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) if Qualified or have Experience SEN Teacher.
- Have an enhanced children’s DBS.
- Behaviour management skills with the ability to manage challenging behaviour.
- Flexibility.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Being an excellent communicator.
- Have a sensitivity and caring approach towards the children and act accordingly towards each child’s needs.
- Ability to work alongside other teachers and parents for promoting parent partnership.
