- We are currently looking for an **Assistant Director of Event Sales** to join our management team in **Events Sales**. Our **Assistant Director of Event Sales** is entrusted to assist the Director of Event Sales in negotiating, converting and growing our event business while acting as a brand ambassador to secure reputable and lucrative business for the hotel.**Key expectations of this role are**
- Preparing monthly forecasts, departmental budget, effective cost controls and function space yield maximisation.
- Implementing innovative ideas, methods, and procedures to streamline the department with a strong focus on Wedding/Social business markets.
- Developing a proactive sales strategy for social events.
- Supporting and advising the Event Sales team on contract negotiations.
- Analysing, negotiating and preparing proposals, contracts and addendums according to hotel availability and demand while maintaining price integrity.
- Acting as a coach and mentor to a team associates to ensure high engagement levels, people development and highest associate retention to strengthen the company culture.

- Have a good understanding of leading and developing people effectively.
- Being organised and proactive in managing your tasks in a high pressure environment.
- A sound understanding of the London events market to retain and increase the competitive advantage through continuous proactive strategic planning.
- Having a passion for event planning and taking ownership of the overall guest experience.
