This is an amazing opportunity for a senior paediatric Nurse to join a well-established, Award-Winning Paediatric Team and to work closely with the Divisional Management Team within the Clinical Support and Family Services Division. As a key member of a triumvirate Team, you will work together with The Paediatric Clinical Lead and Operational Lead to steer the Paediatric Service and influence continuous improvement. You will be joining a team dedicated to the provision of safe, effective, friendly and efficient services within Salisbury Foundation Trust, that puts Children and Families at the forefront of what we do. Based at Salisbury District Hospital in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, the Matron will be responsible for supporting the delivery of all aspects of the paediatric services and will also contribute to the daily operational management of services across the division and trust. Excellent leadership and clinical skills are essential along with a style of collaborative working which supports all team members to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and young people. The role of the matron will focus on the provision of high quality, visible, professional leadership, setting and maintaining standards of clinical excellence, improving outcomes and experiences for patients, families, carer's as well as staff. They will be accountable for the delivery of safe, caring, effective, well led clinical and multi professional care. The post holder will deliver effective skilled clinical leadership and pro-active resource management including the delivery of all aspects outlined in the Matrons Handbook (2020) Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust (SFT) is an innovative hospital with a proud heritage and over 250 years of experience behind us.
