Due to internal promotion, Axon Moore are recruiting on behalf of our client for a **Management Accountant **to join the Financial Reporting team to help produce accurate financial accounts.
The role is suited to a Qualified (or QBE) Management Accountant looking to take ownership and implement best practice into the financial reporting.
You will be working for a PE backed business that is never standing-still and provides an exciting place to work for someone who likes to deliver to a high-standard and is comfortable with change.
This is a flexible hybrid role with 1 day per week in the office (Manchester or Crewe)
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Produce month end accounts including deferred revenue accounting and intangible assets
- Understand month on month movements and variance to budget and forecast
- Revenue analysis, produce information for account managers and understand commercial drivers of results
- Continuously improve our month end process and excel based accounts consolidation
- Stock accounting and control
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigate and resolve any difference
- Assist with compliance and audit requests

**Experience / Qualifications**:

- Qualified or (QBE) Management Accountant
- Advanced Excel knowledge (vlookups, sumifs, pivot tables)
- Self-motivated with strong organisation skills and attention to detail
- Clear communicator, both verbal and written
- Build cross functional relationships
- Comfortable working to group reporting deadlines
- Results orientated and task driven
