**Personal Assistant required for adult female who lives independently in her own home based in the Alnwick area.
I am an intelligent, quiet person with a diagnosis of Autism. I lack confidence and am looking for a personal assistant (PA) who can provide some general support in my day-to-day life.
This will include help with the planning and prompting of self-care skills, meal preparation, supporting with household cleaning tasks and assisting with postal communication, which can at times be a little overwhelming for me. Looking ahead and in the longer term, I would like to have the confidence to access facilities in the community.
I enjoy doing crafts and reading alongside spending time with my cat so it is essential that the successful person can work alongside my pet as well as myself.
I am looking for someone who is calm, not pushy. Someone who will actively listen and not assume what my needs are. A mature person with some life experience would be desirable. They would need to be punctual and reliable with clear communication skills in order to avoid confusion.
An organised person who is able to follow through with what is agreed and if not able to for any reason inform me of change, ahead of it happening. If you feel we could work well alongside one another, please do apply.
**Rate of Pay: £11.91 per hour**
**Hours Breakdown**:
7.5 hours per week 5 x 1.5 hours per day Monday to Friday between 7am - 10 am (to be agreed)
