Job Summary:
The Global Change Governance Specialist will work as a member of the Global ITIL Operations Team providing key change governance support, primarily to the NAM (North America) region. The Global Change Governance Specialist will lead internal CAB meetings and is responsible for driving adherence to the global change governance process within the organisation.

This is a new role within our organisation which has been established in order to ensure ITIL best practice is consistently being applied. The Global Change Governance Specialist will manage Change Requests and focus on reducing risk by ensuring Cubic's global change process and procedures are adhered to.

This is a fast-paced role, which needs a self-motivated approach to delivery. The Global Change Governance Specialist will be a strong collaborator, and be comfortable holding peers and colleagues accountable for high standards of governance. As this role primarily supports our NAM customers the working hours will need to align with this time zone. We’re expecting a start time between 10am-12noon and the shift finishing between 18:30pm - 20:30pm depending on start time. This may vary to accommodate the business requirement.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manage Change Advisory Boards (CABs) to ensure they function effectively
- Drive adherence to change management policies, procedures, and standards
- Ensure that changes are appropriately assessed for impact and risk before approval
- Drive effective communication and coordination with stakeholders, including IT, business units, and external vendors
- Support reporting on the effectiveness of change management processes and governance
- Support training efforts and audit requirements
- Assist other Global ITIL Operations functions in promoting and driving adherence to the process
- Help identify opportunities for improvement through Post Implementation Reviews

Minimum Job Requirements:

- Significant experience of change management from a governance perspective
- Experience managing a Change Advisory Board (CAB)
- Demonstrated ability to drive adherence to change management policies and procedures
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to change management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organisation
- Proven track record of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Able to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment, often managing conflicting expectations
- Able to work both individually and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes
- The use of Microsoft Office particularly, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- A wide understanding of customer service processes and methodologies
