Application Support Analyst - Trading Systems
£60,000 to £70,000 DOE + Benefits + Bonus

As an award winning and trusted recruitment partner to one of the world's most trusted banking groups for more than ten years, we have been asked to assist in the hire of two permanent Front Office Application Support Analyst's to join the team that providessystem support to traders on Equity Trading Systems (such as Fidessa) and Fixed Trade Systems.
In this role you will provide L1-L2 (possibly some L3) support for the systems used by trading desks across Asia and North America. As well as supporting queries raised by traders, you will have the chance to be involved in pre-release testing, project workand programming tasks. You'll also be part of an on-call rota.
Relevant Skills / Experience (Not all essential)
- Knowledge of Equity Trading Systems such as Fidessa, and/or Fixed Trade Systems very beneficial
- Sybase and SQL Queries Experience - Able to write, identify issues in and run basic queries helpful
- Good problem-solving skills, able to communicate well and show an understanding of the business
- Happy to be part of an on-call rota (call out rates low - typically 1 hour of on-call work every couple of weeks)
The above requirements are flexible, and training can be provided where there is a lack of experience. Please be aware however that the salary offered will be dependent on the level of prior experience you bring.
Hybrid Working: You will be expected to spend two days in the office per week, which is standard for this team. The remaining three days can be spent working remotely from home.
