We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and experienced Office Administrator to join the Management & Buying Team at The Chelsea Gardener, where you will be responsible for providing essential administrative and secretarial support to the Head Office and branch Management teams.

Delivering consistently high standards of customer service and work ethics, this challenging and diverse role would suit someone who has a keen eye for figures and data. You will need to be highly organised and can demonstrate excellent communication, admin and IT skills to keep up to date all the site paperwork (purchase orders, delivery notes and invoices) and be able to adapt to internal business Retail Management System Program.
- Be focused, proactive and offer new initiatives to improve the Administration and the efficiency of the Office activity.
- Be helpful, polite, patient, friendly and welcoming, people oriented, well presented to give the best impression as a representative of the company for the public.
- Be reliable, responsible, and trusty to be able to handle cash and high responsibility levels regarding cash handling and company’s confidential information.
- Be very communicative and have excellent command of written and spoken English, and excellent telephone manners.
- Highly retail and customer and service oriented with the ability to answer queries and deal with all customers with tact, diplomacy and patience.
- Reliability and adaptability.
- The ability to work the hours required.
- Flexibility in responding to changing circumstances, a willingness to take on additional tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
- The ability to operate as part of a team and cover for colleagues as workload demands.
- Accuracy, numeracy and attention to detail.
- Common sense and the ability to work on own initiative.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
