Children and Young People Residential Support Worker

We are looking for a creative, curious individual who has had some experience of caring for adults or children or a real desire to work with young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties
As a Residential Support Worker you will be paid a competitive salary, in addition a car allowance and sleep allowance will be paid.
You will need to be passionate about care and deeply committed to helping children to achieve positive outcomes. As an important member of our team, you’ll:
- Create an environment where children can feel safe, nurtured and at home
- Understand and cater to the needs of each and every child
- Establish a trusting relationship and act as a role model
- Help children from all walks of life to re-join their community
- Guide and support children as they work toward building a better life
You will need to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service and a shift pattern is worked, including weekends. All applicants should have knowledge and/or experience of the caring profession and working with children and young people.
