Supported Internship Co Ordinator, for the Gateway to vocational learning team, Full Time

The Supported Internships Co Ordinator will take responsibility for the day to day running of the program. The Supported Internships Co Ordinator will line manage Job Coaches across the three main sites within the Gateway to Vocational Learning department. The post holder will be expected to liaise directly with employers, learners, parents, local authorities and work with other stakeholders internal and external to the college. The manager will be responsible for the performance of their staff and for the key performance indicators relating to tracking, registrations, enrolments, retention rates, success rates and timely completion of Supported Internships. It is likely that the post holder will need to operate across all College sites and working hours may need to be flexible at times depending on the nature of the needs of the business. Post holders will also be expected to remain competent through CPD activities and to keep abreast of changing developments in the supported employment sector. The Supported Internships Co Ordinator will have overall design of the program while ensuring we’re maximizing income, either through government funding or commercial means.
