Based in Plymouth, our company has been established for 19 years and offers highly innovative design and construction solutions to our commercial and residential clients, both regionally and nationally.

We are currently looking to recruit a Stores Supervisor to join our dynamic team to run the Stores department and manage the holdings of materials and equipment. You will also be responsible for the housekeeping standards of the stores and container facilities and for their continuous improvement.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Pick goods requested by projects team.
- Book goods in and out.
- Complete ladder and racking checks.
- Plan, co-ordinate and monitor all receipts, storage and issue of materials, tools and equipment using the company IT system.
- Maintain records of all stock locations and non-stock items by continuous inventory management.
- Lead, manage and submit stock counts periodically.
- When necessary, move stocks between stores, containers and construction sites.
- Schedule and send tools for calibration/maintenance.
- Complete annual PAT testing.
- Ensure that Company procedures and processes are followed and adhered to.
- Maintain standards of H&S, hygiene and security in the work environment i.e., ensure that stock such as chemicals are stored safely and compliantly.
- General housekeeping (sweeping, emptying bins etc.)

**Person Specification**:

- Team player and excellent collaboration skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Experience of operating in a supervisory capacity within a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines and solve problems.
- Proficient with Computer software.
- Motivated to ensure that quality standards are met.

Hours: 7.00am - 4.30pm (flexible)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,800.00-£29,000.00 per year
