We are recruiting a motivated individual who is seeking secure long-term employment as a Counter Assistant within a busy and well established fish & chip shop.

Duties will include; providing a high level of customer service i.e. taking orders from customers, cashing orders up and serving food to customers etc.; maintaining high standards of hygiene and food handling i.e. cleaning work surfaces, washing dishes, rotating restocked food/drink items etc.; preparing for the opening and closing of the shop i.e. peeling/chipping potatoes, re-stocking fresh/frozen foods, cleaning equipment and following waste management procedures.

The successful applicant must be capable of listening to others and following instructions and must be able to work as part of a team. This position is being offered on a full-time or a part-time basis however there must flexibility to work week days, evenings & weekends.

References from previous employment, training or education would be welcomed.
