**About the role**

The suitable applicant will join an established accounts team.  They will be responsible for credit checking new and existing customers and maintaining credit limits accordingly.  As such, this role will work closely with multiple departments across the company.  The role includes working to resolve any queries to ensure a well-maintained ledger, within agreed terms.  Aged debt reporting to ensure the Finance Director retains clear visibility. Other administrative tasks that may be required. 

**Your Responsibilities will include**:

- **To take ownership of a large number of client account, prioritize collections and achieve set targets.
- Monitoring the credit control mailbox and address any queries raised by clients or internal staff.
- Maintain detailed notes on customer accounts & Excel in order to aid reviews by higher management.
- Liase with other departments as & when required.
- Reconciling accounts as & when required.

**Experience Required**:

- Minimum 2 years of Credit Control experience 
- Basic MS word & MS Excel, & MS Outlook
- Minimum GCSE or equivalent Maths and English - grade C or above, with further A Level standard qualification

**Skills Required**:

- Professional & friendly telephone manner 
- Confident on teams calls
- Strong Communication skills with external and internal stakeholders
- Ability to follow credit control process and procedures set up by management
- Result driven and keen to achieve collection targets
- Ability to be proactive and use initiative to produce results
- Good time management skills
