An exciting opportunity has arisen within ServiceMaster Clean North East for an **Area ** **Cleaning Supervisor** to support cleaning contracts in Teesside.

Key areas you will cover will be Middlesbrough, Stockton, Billingham, Seal Sands, Darlington. You would be responsible for managing a large team dedicated to cleaning our client’s offices and commercial premises to a high standard.

This is a fantastic opportunity to undertake a very varied field-based role, working with a very supportive management team in a business that is really going places. **Main Duties**:

- Support and guide the cleaning team to achieve the required cleaning standards and service levels
- Able to manage a large amount of sites
- Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained of cleaning products and consumables
- Check on/auditing cleaning standards
- Arrange holiday and absence cover to ensure we don’t let the customer down
- Accurately record and report site attendance to management
- Contribute to and maintain excellent Client relationships
- Cleans own sites to a high standard
- Willing to provide cover cleaning, when required
- Promote a culture of teamwork and positive collaboration within all departments
- Extremely flexible, someone who really takes ownership for the performance of their sites

**Requirements**:

- Clean driving licence
- Pleasant and supportive personality
- Ability to get the best out of people
- Previous cleaning industry experience is preferred, but not essential
- Desire to progress your career and supervise staff
- Ideally held key holder responsibilities
- Ideally an understanding of supervising multiple sites and able to manage your time
- Ability to quickly build credible relationships but able to challenge when necessary
- Excellent organisational skills
- Understanding of health and safety
- Conduct yourself in a very professional manner at all times

Company Van and Fuel Card Provided, for business use.

Pay: £12.79 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
