At Nescot College, we are recruiting a **Lecturer** **in Plumbing and Gas**into our modern and easily-accessible campus in **Epsom, Surrey.**You’ll be teaching and assessing students on courses ranging from Level 1 to Level 3 as well as our apprentice provision.
**What we’re looking for**:
- Level 3 qualification in plumbing or an equivalent qualification.
- Ideally the following Gas Qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT1, CKR1, DAH1, HTR1, MET1, Water Regulations, and unvented certificate
- Professional Gas Safe Registration
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Teach and assess students at Level 2 & 3 and apprenticeships.
- Prepare class materials
- Monitor students’ progress

- Nescot is graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted following its latest inspection in January 2023. Inspectors rated the College as Good in all 8 aspects. The report recognises that students “enjoy their courses and are motivated to succeed”, and benefit from “highly supportive relationships” with staff. Safeguarding arrangements are “effective” with regular training for staff, and leaders have in place “an effective policy for safer recruitment.”_
