Due to continued expansion Thorne & Derrick have an opportunity for a Sales Office Administration Apprentice in our busy Industrial Sales Office located in Chester-le-Street, County Durham

**Tasks**

Liaising with Customers, Suppliers, Sales Staff and Warehouse
Ordering stock and maintaining stock levels
Dealing with internal enquiries from other team members
Ensuring timely delivery of products and first class customer service
- A positive and flexible attitude
- Excellent written communication skills
- A confident telephone manner
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail

**College**

In addition to your college work, you will receive inhouse training on administration skills, data entry, document control and technical certification and standards.

You will attend college on day release and a certain amount of office time is set aside per week to help with your studies.

**Qualifications**

Education to A Level standard and a minimum of 5 GCSE passes including Maths and English

Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm

25 days paid holiday per annum
