**Salary**: £25,500 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience and contracted hours (to be discussed at interview)
**Hours**:35 - 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, Office Hours)

We are looking for an experienced and proactive **Nursery Administrator** to join our central team in Normanton. This role is key to the efficient operation of our group of nurseries across South and West Yorkshire, and it involves taking ownership of essential administrative and financial processes including **invoicing, rota planning, child bookings**, and **funding maintenance**.

We are also looking for someone who is adaptable and comfortable with change — someone who can rise to the occasion and take on occasional projects or tasks to support the wider business as needed.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- **Invoicing and Credit Control**:

- Generate accurate monthly/Weekly invoices using Kindersoft and manage customer accounts, including debt chasing where necessary.
- **Early Years Funding Administration**:
Maintain funding records for EEF, EYPP and DAF, liaise directly with local authorities, and ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- **Child Bookings and Occupancy Records**:

- **Staff Rota Planning**:

- **Parent Communication**:

- **Payroll Preparation**:

- **Ordering and Supplies**:

- **General Office Administration**:

- **Liaising with Local Authorities**:

- **Marketing Support**:

- **Undertake any other duties as required** to meet the needs of the business and to support the team and nursery operations.**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in office or financial administration
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel & Word)
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Professional and confident communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Discretion when handling confidential information

**Essential**:

- Proficient in spoken and written English.

**Desirable (Not Essential)**:

- Experience in childcare or education administration
- Familiarity with Kindersoft or similar nursery management systems
- Understanding of early years funding processes
- Knowledge of payroll or basic finance

**Additional Information**:

- This is an **on-site** role based in Normanton
- Occasional travel to nursery sites in West and South Yorkshire is required — **own transport and valid UK driving licence are essential**:

- Usual Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00
