**About the Role**

To focus on **generating revenue** for all areas of Rudding Park through implementing an effective digital communications strategy, ensuring integration with all offline channels.

**The role focuses on increasing traffic, generating revenue and reducing reliance on OTAs and third parties through digital channels.**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop and implement the digital strategy across with a key focus on driving conversion and direct revenue (web, social, e-marketing etc.)
- Continually audit and improve the user experience from content quality, accuracy, loading speed, design, navigation and structure.
- Develop brand-driven metasearch, PPC, remarketing and display advertising, where necessary to optimise campaigns, calculate and report on ROI of all paid activity
- Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of digital campaigns, creating reports, and providing actionable insights to management.
- Manage the CRM strategy ensuring effective targeting and segmentation to support guest retention and engagement, re-engage lapsed guests, ensuring compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation.
- Work with the team to create and execute an online content strategy (including social channels) supporting the business strategy and integration with offline channels.
- Manage external agencies as necessary and ensure you stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to remain at the forefront of innovation.
- Ensure all activity is actioned within agreed budgets and timescales.
- At least two years' digital marketing experience; able to demonstrate successful delivery of digital, social campaigns.
- Hospitality industry experience (desirable), although equally we are aware we have lots to learn from the retail industry
- Experience managing social media, SEO/SEM, CRM, and/or display ad campaigns
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools e.g., Google Analytics
- Passionate about storytelling with creative, engaging copy writing
- Confident and a strong team player
- Able to use own initiative and take accountability
- Be prepared to undertake any other duties deemed appropriate
- Full driving licence
